Hello. Yes, that's so. I am responsible for the GC, OO2C and VO packages
in Debian. For those who are running Debian GNU/Linux, the current
versions of each of these are available in the "unstable" archive (aka
"potato"). You can get them, i.e. from
ftp.us.debian.org:/debian/dists/potato/main/binary-i386/. They are
precompiled and ready to use for Intel-based systems.

OO2C and VO are both in the devel/ subdirectory, called oo2c_* and
voberon_* respectively. You will need to get GC from the libs/
subdirectory, called libgc4_*. [Note that * represents that the specific
version and Debian revision may vary, so you'll need to look before
downloading.]

The Incoming versions (those which I have uploaded, but are not yet posted
to the mirror) are somewhat different. You'll need to get voberon-dev_*
from devel/, voberon_* and liboo2c_* from libs/.

Apt/Dselect will make this all automatic. The reason for splitting them
into so many pieces is that not everybody will want to develop with these
tools, eventually there may be Debian applications built with them which
require their libraries to be installed, and nothing else.
