Only if someone else maintains the low-level files. And I want
a statement, signed with blood, that the changed low-level .c file
do not mess up oo2c for Unix, before I even consider integrating
them into the standard oo2c distribution.

X11.Mod has done by hand with the help of some highly specialzed
elisp macros. Sorry, can't help you with this.
