Library coordination
Just to let all of you know the state of affairs with the
library coordination: I am compiling a list of proposed
modules. I intent to put the following info about the
modules in the list:
- the module name.
- a short description about the purpose of the module
- whether the implementation of the module is system-dependant
or not.
- who is writing an system-independent implementation.
or
- who is writing the interface definition of a system-dependant
module.
- the state of the implentation (not-yet, alpha, beta, finished)
- anything else you think should also be here.
I don't think DEFINITION's should be in the list because it
would become very big very soon. This is better done in a separate
thread discussing the module.
The list will be posted every fortnigth to the mailing list.
Currently we have the following people that volunteered writing
modules:

I volunteer to write the definition for the Files and Locators(Filenames)
modules and the implementations for Unix (and RISC OS of course).
Merry christmas everobody.

These systems people never changed. They could work miracles, but at the
same time they claimed perfectly reasonable requests were impossible.
