Please remember that this site is in Germany, local time zone CET or
GMT+1.  During working hours (08:00 to 17:00) connections are quite
bad.  Transfer rates go down very quickly after 08:00, and should
gradually improve after 17:00.  So you'd better try to reach cognac
during the night/very early in the morning (local time), or over the
weekend. 

I could send you the patch files per email (gzip, uuencode), they're
usually quite small.  That is, if you can use them at all...
